NBC and The Associated Press have projected Mitt Romney the winner of the Michigan primary by more than 30,000 votes. Romney won in Arizona with 44 percent of the vote over Rick Santorum at 27 percent. Romney was expected to win in Arizona, and as polls closed at 9 p.m. EST news outlets called the state for the former Massachusetts governor. Romney wins all 29 of Arizona’s delegates in a winner-takes-all format. Michigan will split the delegates according to the final results.
