The American League of Lobbyists just wants to be loved—and wants you to get past their name. The group known as the “lobbyists’s lobby” has dropped “lobbyist” from their name to try to fix its image problem. The group announced Monday that it will now be known as the Association of Government Relations Professionals. The name comes after a monthlong vote of its nearly 1,200 members, in which 83 percent of those voting supported the change.
