It must have quite a view: A three-story penthouse at London's One Hyde Park development recently sold for £136 million ($221 million), making it the United Kingdom's most expensive flat. Official documents show the purchase was agreed to back in 2007 and handled by a Ukraine-based law firm, though the buyer's identity is still unknown and transaction details were only recently filed with the Land Registry. The papers also suggest that the purchase was a cash deal, as there was no mortgage attached to the luxe penthouse. The big-spending owner allegedly plans to shell out an additional £60 million on outfitting the 25,000 square foot apartment, which was purchased without amenities or decor.
