One of the two men suspected of hacking a British soldier on a street in London was detained in Kenya in 2010 on suspicion of training with al Qaeda in Somalia, Kenyan police confirmed on Sunday. Michael Adebolajo , 28, was arrested in November 2010 with a group of five others who were trying to meet up with al Qaeda’s African wing al Shabaab in Somalia—and then he was deported back to London. Adebolajo and Michael Adebowale, 22, are currently under guard in a British hospital after being shot and arrested after allegedly attacking Lee Rigby with a machete on a British street on Wednesday. British police have also arrested nine others in connection to the attack, including a 22-year-old man arrested in North London on Sunday.
