Jennifer Lopez may be pulling double duty on Saturday Night Live this weekend, but the recently confirmed split from her label, Sony Music, is no laughing matter. Though rumors first began swirling on Monday that the triple threat was being dropped by her label of more than 10 years, Lopez confirmed the story Wednesday. “At this point, I have fulfilled all my contractual obligations to Sony/Epic (and) we have come to an amicable decision,” the singer and actress said in a statement on her fansite, OnlineJLoFan. But the girl from the block, who put out her first album On The 6 with Sony’s Epic Records in 1999, said her seventh album Love? will still be released this summer as planned. Lopez did not, however, specify which label picked up the new record, which features her latest foundering single, “Louboutins.”
