Lost Loves?
Two of the most mysterious Lost-aways—Ben and Juliet (aka Michael Emerson and Elizabeth Mitchell)—talk to The Daily Beast’s Kara Cutruzzula about new plot twists, on-screen affairs—and their dream Lost spin-offs.
Two of the most enigmatic inhabitants on Lost’s time-shifting island, Juliet and Ben (Elizabeth Mitchell and Michael Emerson) are polar opposites. Juliet reassures the other castaways, while Ben both deceives and creeps them out at every opportunity. Mitchell, well-known for her roles in HBO’s Gia, The Santa Clause, and Frequency, talked to The Daily Beast about the show’s mind-blowing fifth season, including Juliet’s flirtation with Sawyer (and physicist Daniel Faraday?), her upcoming blood lust, and why she and the Ben should take their duel to Broadway. Theater veteran Michael Emerson spoke about his Shakespearean roots, off-the-island makeover—and a dream spin-off with Locke.
