The Baltimore woman who claims she stowed her winning Mega Millions ticket somewhere in the McDonald’s where she works held a press conference Wednesday, for which she showed up 45 minutes late in a pink shirt that read “Sweet Swine.” Marlande Wilson, a single mom of seven, texted and talked on her cell phone through the event while her lawyer answered questions about her rumored winning ticket. “I can’t say with any certainty that this ticket exists,” the lawyer said. “You never say that it’s so until you’ve seen it with your own eyes.” Wilson is engaged in a conflict with her McDonald’s coworkers, who claim she bought the thus-far phantom ticket in a workplace pool.
