Lotto Jackpot Winner Goes Missing

Fishy

Abusive husband lobbies for part of $190 million.

Holly Lahti, 29, a single mother of two from Idaho, won a Mega Millions lottery $190 million jackpot on January 4th—and then promptly disappeared. Now, the missing woman's deadbeat estranged husband is seeking a piece of her riches, and it looks like he might actually have a case. Josh Lahti and his wife never legally divorced and were never legally separated, meaning he has a strong legal claim to her assets. After the woman's disappearance on January 4th, mug shots emerged showing her battered and bloodied face after she and her husband were busted by police during a domestic dispute. Asked about his motives by an AP reporter, Lahti’s husband said: "I won't have to pay child support."
