As Paris’ Fall 2012 fashion week come to a close, a reality is pounded home: with a few notable exceptions (Vuitton, Valentino, Miu Miu, McQueen), the shows have focused on everything except the frocks themselves. The days when fashion was an industry of pretty dresses are long gone.
