Louisiana governor Bobby Jindal on display at Art Basel
Visitors to Art Basel will have the opportunity to purchase a painting depicting Louisiana governor Bobby Jindal, juxtaposed with a scary hell demon. The painter, American artist Richard Phillips, titled the work “The New Actuality.” Fun fact: Last fall, Phillips appeared as himself on an episode of CW’s Gossip Girl—one of his paintings hangs in the fictional Van der Woodsens’ loft.
