Love the Way You Lie Video: Rihanna and Eminem’s Domestic Abuse Message

One year after being assaulted by pop star Chris Brown, singer Rihanna has joined forces with rapper Eminem to address domestic violence in his latest song and accompanying music video. The recently released “Love the Way You Lie” video shows Rihanna singing outside a burning house while inside, a couple—played by Transformers actress Megan Fox and Lost star Dominic Monaghan—exchange blows before passionately kissing. In the track, rapper Eminem laments, “I laid hands on her… I’ll never stoop so low again.” The video ends with the two lovers erupting in flames. “It was believable for us to do a record like that, but it was also something that needed to be done,” Rihanna told Access Hollywood. “He pretty much just broke down the cycle of domestic violence and it touches a lot of people.”
