An outdoor performance by Southern-rock band Lynyrd Skynyrd is among the shows canceled so far at the Republican National Convention in Tampa as Tropical Storm Isaac looms. The bill of musical acts originally scheduled to perform over the course of the convention also included country-music singer Trace Adkins and Kid Rock. The week was set to close with a velvet-rope show featuring Journey on Thursday. The show is to go on for those acts scheduled for Tuesday through Thursday, though all outdoor Sunday events were nixed after the plug was pulled on the “Freebird” artists.
