At a musical festival in Nottingham, England, Macaulay Culkin’s Velvet Underground cover band was booed off the stage. The band performed a couple of their comedic versions of VU and Lou Reed songs, like “It’s a Pizza Day,” before the crowd began throwing beers. Culkin as first tried to calm the crowd, saying “Why are you throwing those? I’d rather drink them!” After just 15 minutes, Culkin and his band stormed off the stage. Apparently unaware of how unhappy the crowd was, the band tweeted, “Thank you so much Nottingham… Sorry that a couple people ruined it for everyone.”
