A Mac-11 subcompact machine gun was discovered inside a closet at one of JFK Airport's international terminals Thursday. Port Authority police were called to Terminal One, which is used by Air France, Turkish Airlines, and Korean Air, among others, to run a ballistics test on the weapon to figure out where it came from and how long it had been stashed away in an area belonging to airport management. The Mac-11, which was found without ammunition, is known for its capacity to discharge a 32-round magazine in less than two seconds.
