Presidential candidate Donald Trump has inside information that would badly damage Roger Ailes and Fox News, according to a New York magazine story. “When Roger was having problems, he didn’t call 97 people, he called me,” Trump said. Ailes allegedly fired his PR adviser, Brian Lewis, over a story in 2014. But when Lewis’s severance negotiations turned contentious, Lewis said that he had “bombs” that could destroy Fox News and Ailes. “I solved the problem,” Trump told New York reporter Gabriel Sherman. During the back-and-forth, Trump reportedly learned nearly everything Lewis planned to divulge. Sherman wrote, “If Ailes ever truly went to war against Trump, Trump would have the arsenal to launch a retaliatory strike.”
