As the battle over the gender wage gap continues to rage in Washington and in the media, some of Hollywood’s women have identified the real problem: men are underrepresented in their industry.
This satirical clip, from the group #MAKEITFAIR, laments that only 93 percent of popular films were directed by men last year, and that they wrote only 80 percent. These women say they “wont relent/’til it’s 100 percent,” tongues lodged firmly in cheek.
They also touch on the 80 percent of members of Congress and 95 percent of Fortune 500 CEOs that are men. Makes you wonder why anyone thinks we need a “men’s rights movement.”
