The prime minister of Malaysia announced Wednesday that the Boeing 777 flaperon discovered on an island last week belongs to Malaysia Airlines Flight 370. The announcement is just official confirmation of what was virtually certain given only one Boeing 777’s whereabouts are unknown: MH370. French prosecutors, however, were more reserved and said there are "very strong" indications the part found on Réunion Island in the eastern Indian Ocean is from MH370.
