Police in Munich have arrested a man after a stabbing attack early Saturday that left at least four people injured and triggered panic in the southern German city. Residents were advised to stay indoors during the hours-long manhunt after attacks were carried out in multiple locations. Police say the attacker—a man on a black bicycle—picked his targets at random and is thought to have been working alone. “We have arrested a person who very strongly resembles the description by witnesses, but we cannot confirm that he is the attacker,” Munich police spokesman Marcus da Gloria Martins told reporters after the incident. No details on a motive have been released. Five men and one woman were attacked, though none of the victims sustained life-threatening injuries, police said.
