Daniel Frisiello, of Beverly, Massachusetts, was arrested Thursday morning on charges that he sent a threatening letter to Donald Trump Jr. containing white powder, authorities said. Frisiello, 24, is set to make his first appearance in U.S. District Court in Worcester on Thursday. The letter—which was addressed to Trump Jr. and led to the precautionary hospitalization of his wife, Vanessa, in February—stated: “You are an awful, awful person, I am surprised that your father lets you speak on TV. You make the family idiot, Eric, look smart,” according to the criminal complaint. Frisiello was also arrested for sending hoax letters to a U.S. attorney and a congressional candidate.
