A male suspect is in custody after crashing his truck through the gate of the Grand Haven Coast Guard Station and assaulting Coast Guard personnel. The suspect allegedly made a threat regarding an explosive device in the truck. The police say he is not a resident of Grand Haven, and the incident is being called a “domestic act of terrorism.” All Coast Guard personnel are now safe.
