Shot by the woman's abuser in Walmart parking lot.
KENS 5
A man was shot dead in a Walmart parking lot in San Antonio on Friday for intervening in what appeared to be a domestic dispute. Police say the man was only trying to help a woman who was being physically abused, having witnessed the woman have her hair pulled by a man in a vehicle. The San Antonio Police Department says the man, who they’re calling a Good Samaritan, intervened and told the woman’s abuser to “let her go.” For that, he was shot in the neck. Two women were also injured in the incident, one of them critically. The beaten woman escaped and the shooting suspect was later arrested in nearby Castroville.
