Seattle Police said they have a suspect in custody following the Friday night shooting of a man at a University of Washington protest. The incident occurred at a demonstration against right-wing commentator and alt-right figure Milo Yiannopoulos, who was due to speak at the university. Demonstrators were thought to have started a protest against Yiannopoulos after already protesting against President Donald Trump in the city. The victim has been identified only as a 32-year-old man, who was reported to be in critical condition after surgery late Friday. The identity of the suspected shooter has not yet been released, but the Seattle Police Department released a statement early Saturday saying he had turned himself in. No further details on the shooting were released.
