A California man who managed to survive a car crash on a highway near San Juan Capistrano Friday was killed shortly after by a hit-and-run driver. Elijah Alexander Ward, 20, lost control of his vehicle, which flipped over and rolled off the road. Ward then left the car and walked to get help, but was hit by another vehicle. That driver fled the scene in what is described as a white or cream Subaru. It is unknown why Ward lost control of his vehicle.
