Talk about rejection. A Chinese man climbed into the Chengdu Zoo enclosure of Bengal tigers in the hopes they would eat him, but only sustained minor wounds. Yang Jinhai, a 27-year-old who reportedly suffers from mental issues, spent 20 minutes making "exaggerated movements" while trying to tempt the tigers. “I asked them to bite me and let them eat my meat, and so I did not fight back,” he told a local paper. He was rescued when zoo staff tranquilized the animals, and is being treated for depression.
