Italian golfer Matteo Manassero won the PGA Championship on Sunday and in the process set a new record for being the youngest to ever win the title. Manassero, who is 20, is 60 days younger than the previous record holder, Bernard Gallacher, who was 20 years and 97 days old when he won in 1969. Manassero's steady performance left him at 10 under par at the end of the tournament, tied with British players Simon Khan and Marc Warren. He survived the three-way play off, sneaking in a birdie on the fourth hole, to win the tourney. Manassero is only the second Italian to take the title.
