Nelson Mandela has finally gone home. The remains of the former South African president arrived on Saturday in his childhood home of Qunu, in the country’s Eastern Cape province. The anti-apartheid leader will be buried in the green hills of his ancestral home on Sunday. As the casket was transported in a procession to Qunu from the airport in Mthatha, mourners lined the route to pay their respects. “Look, he loved these hills. He really believed this is where he belonged,” his daughter, Maki Mandela, told CNN.
