This is one fashionable trip down the aisle that will have to wait: the fashion world’s most anticipated wedding—that of Marc Jacobs and Lorenzo Martone—has been postponed until August. Martone says that this is due to Jacobss hectic work schedule, and although postponed celebrity marriages always seem to be bad news, marriage has not strayed far from Martone’s mind: he celebrated New York’s gay pride day by co-hosting a party at the Standard Hotel on Sunday, sponsored by a Dutch initiative calling for New Yorkers to have the same right to marry as gay couples in Amsterdam.
