Mario Testino for Net-a-Porter: Mario Testino has collaborated with Net-a-Porter to create a capsule collection based on his newly opened "Alta Moda" exhibition at Mate, the photographer's cultural foundation in his native Peru. The collection includes silk and cotton blend kaftans, scarves, totes, and clutch bags with prints that have been lifted from his photographs. Elizabeth Taylor’s €50,000 Wedding Dress: The dress Elizabeth Taylor wore to marry Conrad Hilton will be auctioned at Christie’s in London in June for €50,000 (approximately $64,667). The dress was designed by Helen Rose as a gift from Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, the film studio Taylor had previously worked with. The one-of-a-kind dress, made of 25 yards of shell-white satin and 15 yards of satin train, is estimated to have taken 15 seamstresses two to three months to complete. [Telegraph]
