“I’m going to respect you as a man. You do your thing and we’ll do ours,” his coach said.

NFL star and Oakland Raiders running back Marshawn Lynch sat during the national anthem before Saturday night’s preseason game against the Arizona Cardinals. Lynch has not spoken publicly since the incident, and did not speak with reporters after the game. “I’m going to respect you as a man. You do your thing and we’ll do ours,” Raiders coach Jack Del Rio said. Colin Kaepernick made similar moves last year, causing other players to follow his lead. Kaepernick has yet to sign with a team so far this year.
