Syria's opposition is fearing that a "massacre" is coming to the city of Homs. The Syrian National Council said Friday that thousands of troops and vehicles have surrounded the city and manning more than 60 checkpoints, and that those are signs of an impending violent crackdown. It warned that a "massive number of casualties" could occur. At least 15 more deaths occurred in Homs, with at least 15 others killed elsewhere across Syria.
