Jemima Khan and her boyfriend comedian Russell Brand were investigated by the police after a masseuse claimed she was assaulted at the heiress’s £15 million mansion, it is being reported today.

Szilvia Berki, 31, originally from Hungary, alleged that Mr Brand, 39, pushed her during a row about the service she would provide at Kiddington Hall, Ms Khan’s 17th century stately home in Oxfordshire.

Thames Valley Police looked into the complaint but Mr Brand denied the allegation and the police did not proceed to a full investigation due to a lack of evidence according to the Daily Telegraph.

The masseuse, who charges up to £500 for a massage, claimed that she was booked by Ms Khan, 40, as a birthday present for Mr Brand, who has previously called for a socialist revolution and the overthrow of the Capitalist system, last month.

She said she had a only a vague idea who the couple were when she was booked.

Jemima Khan, nee Goldsmith, is the daughter of one of Britain's richest men, Sir Jimmy Goldsmith, who died in 1997.

Miss Berki, who lives in Wimbledon, south west London, claimed that she received an e-mail from Ms Khan on June 6 asking if she would travel to Oxfordshire the following night to give a massage.

She told police that a disagreement about the service she would provide ocurred and during the row, she was pushed by Brand and Ms Khan’s white Alsatian dog jumped at her.

Miss Berki said that the heiress later e-mailed to apologise for any misunderstanding.

A spokesman for Thames Valley Police said: “We received a report on 16 June from the Metropolitan Police that a woman had reported that she had been assaulted on June 7 at a private address near Woodstock.

“An investigation was carried out by Thames Valley Police and in the absence of necessary evidence we were unable to proceed further with the investigation and informed the complainant of this situation.”

The masseuse has now made a complaint over the way the case was handled and Thames Valley Police confirmed they are reviewing the initial investigation.
