A security breach at the company Global Payments was confirmed late Friday and may have compromised more than 10 million credit-card accounts. All major brands of cards, including Visa and MasterCard, have been endangered. The company processed $167.3 billion worth of transactions in its last fiscal year, and the Atlanta-based firm will assess the damage this weekend.
