Q.T. Fashion, a wholesaler of maternity clothing in Los Angeles, was one of a number of businesses raided by federal agents as part of a drug cartel money-laundering probe. Official say that when cartel bosses needed payment from families of kidnapping victims, the families were allegedly directed to give the ransom money to the business, which then used it to pay for shipments from an importer, which then paid the cartel. A total of nine people were arrested and $90 million seized in 75 raids.
