McCain Camp: 'All Fiction'

McCain campaign manager Steve Schmidt told Politico that the book is “all fiction” and complained, “why is the bald guy always the villain?” In the book, Palin calls Schmidt “grim-faced” and “cool” and pokes fun at his “rotund physique” and smoking habit. McCain strategist John Weaver also attacks the book, telling Politico it’s “petty and pathetic” and “revisionist and self-serving.”
