McCain: Snooki Is Right

Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) has found an ideological ally in Snooki, the tiny high-haired star of MTV’s Jersey Shore. Snooki says on the show that "I don't go tanning-tanning anymore because Obama put a 10 percent tax on tanning... He did that because of us." (She’s referring to the health-care legislation passed in March, which contains a provision for a 10 percent tax on tanning bed sessions.) In response, McCain tweeted: "@Sn00ki u r right, I would never tax your tanning bed! Pres Obama's tax/spend policy is quite The Situation. but I do rec wearing sunscreen!" Snooki responded, "Haha Yes!!" but whether she’ll stump for the senator this fall is yet to be seen.
