McCaskill Launches Anti–Todd Akin Site

Not even 24 hours after Republican Rep. Todd Akin won the Missouri Senate primary, incumbent Democrat Claire McCaskill launched a website pointing to Akin's most extreme conservative views. "Throughout his campaign, Todd Akin has adopted policy stances that align with the most conservative members of Congress," reads TruthAboutAkin.com. "If elected, Akin would privatize Medicare and Social Security, eliminate federal support for student loans, abolish the federal minimum wage, and preserve taxpayer subsidies for big oil and gas companies." Last night after Missouri's primary election results were in, The New York Times called McCaskill "the nation's most endangered Senate Democrat."
