Some feuds never die. McDonald's said Friday that it will stop using Heinz ketchup. The reason? Because Heinz hired former Burger King CEO Bernardo Hees to head up Heinz. Isn’t it a little comforting to know that in these wild times, McDonald's still hates Burger King? McDonald's only uses Heinz ketchup in two U.S. markets (Pittsburgh and Minneapolis), with the product mainly being used overseas. But it’s still a pretty big rift: McDonald's has had a relationship with Heinz for over 40 years. Burger King, meanwhile, uses Heinz in 80 percent of its markets.
