Tiger Woods can go crying to his mistresses: The world’s top golfer failed once again to take the title in his second major since his return to golf. The U.S. Open title went instead to Graeme McDowell, who shot a three-over 74 at Pebble Beach on Sunday and finished the tournament at even par. The victory bumps McDowell’s world ranking up to 13. Woods tied Phil Mickelson for fourth place, meanwhile; and Ernie Els enjoyed a resurgence, finishing third.
