Medal of Honor recipient Kyle Carpenter was arrested Thursday for a hit-and-run in South Carolina after he allegedly hit a pedestrian and failed to stop earlier this month, WYFF4 reported. In the Dec. 8 incident in Columbia, the victim was reportedly injured when Carpenter made an improper left turn and struck him. The youngest living Medal of Honor recipient surrendered to officials and was released on bond.
