Six of the 10 best-paid CEOs in America run media companies, according to 2014 rankings released Tuesday by the AP. Discovery Communications chief David Zaslav topped the list with annual compensation of $156.1 million, and CBS’s Les Moonves came in second with $54.4 million. The heads of Viacom, Walt Disney, Comcast, and Time Warner were the other media names on the list, with Regeneron Pharmaceutical, Salesforce, Vertex Pharmaceuticals, and Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer rounding out the top 10.
