Meghan Markle’s half-brother Thomas Markle was arrested on Friday for allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol, TMZ reports. Thomas, who is 52-years-old and the son of Meghan’s father, Thomas Sr., was reportedly driving in Oregon when police stopped him around 1:30 a.m. and took him into custody for impaired driving. According to TMZ, the duchess is estranged from her half-brother, who reportedly sent a letter to Prince Harry in April that read, “It’s not too late. Meghan Markle is obviously not the right woman for you.” After he was stopped, police performed a field sobriety test and determined Thomas was intoxicated, the report says. Thomas was taken to the Grants Pass Sobering Center, and his Chevy Silverado was impounded.
