Fox News primetime star Megyn Kelly is set to produce a new scripted comedy series with Fifty Shades of Grey producer Michael De Luca about journalists embedded on a presidential campaign trail. According to Variety, Verizon’s streaming platform Go90 has ordered six half-hour episodes of the show, titled Embeds, which will follow five young reporters who navigate their way through covering the campaign haul. They will attempt to air the first episode by Election Day, and are currently casting the show’s star roles. The scripts will reportedly be written by Scott Conroy, author of Sarah Palin biography Sarah From Alaska, and Peter Hamby, a former CNN reporter who now leads Snapchat’s news division.
