Mel Gibson was hospitalized with COVID-19 back in April and spent several days battling the virus, according to Australia’s The Daily Telegraph. The newspaper reports the 64-year-old actor was given the drug Remdesivir while being treated in a U.S. hospital, which People reports was in Los Angeles. “He tested positive in April and spent a week in the hospital,” a representative was quoted as saying. He has reportedly since tested negative.
