Melania Trump reportedly has been unable to leave her hotel all day Friday because of chaotic protests over the G-20 summit in Hamburg, Germany, local and international outlets report. There’s no evidence to suggest the first lady is in danger, but the clashes have injured at least 100 officers and led to the dozens of arrests. Mrs. Trump tweeted Friday, “Thinking of those hurt in #Hamburg protests. Hope everyone stay safe! #G20.” Hamburg reportedly brought in reinforcements for the local police force to increase security in preparation for the two-day summit.
