First Lady Melania Trump underwent a procedure on Monday for a “benign kidney condition” and is expected to stay in the hospital “for the duration of the week,” according to a White House statement. Trump “underwent an embolization procedure” at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in order to treat a kidney condition, which was “successful and had “no complications.” Trump debuted her “Be Best” initiative, aimed at helping children nationwide, just last week.
