Joan Rivers' daughter filed a multimillion dollar suit against Yorkville Endoscopy, the clinic that performed an endoscopy where Rivers lost oxygen and died of brain damage a week later, along with five of its doctors. Melissa Rivers charged that this negligence led to a coma and ultimately her mother's death. In her complaint she writes that nobody performed a tracheotomy that would open Joan's airwaves. “The level of medical mismanagement, incompetency, disrespect and outrageous behavior is shocking and frankly almost incomprehensible," Rivers says in the lawsuit.
