A memo received by a top official in Michigan Gov. Rick Snyder's administration warned that switching Flint’s water supply “could lead to some big potential disasters down the road.” The March 2014 document was released Thursday along with nearly 4,500 other pages of agendas and emails. The memo called the expedited rush to activate the Flint Water Treatment Plant—Detroit’s year-long plan to cut off the city from its Lake Huron water source—“less than ideal,” according to the documents.
