A juror in Sen. Robert Menendez’s (D-N.J.) corruption trial asked the judge on Tuesday to define a “senator,” Bloomberg reported. U.S. District Judge William Walls refused to answer the question and denied the same juror's request for the transcript of a Menendez attorney’s closing argument. Walls said jurors should use their memory to determine the definition of a senator. Menendez stands accused of taking bribes from Florida doctor Salomon Melgen in exchange for acting on Melgen’s behalf.
