Mets Invite Outfielder Accused of Domestic Violence to Spring Training

The New York Mets have invited outfielder Khalil Lee to spring training even though he is being investigated over allegations he choked his ex-girlfriend. Police in Syracuse—where Lee was playing Triple-A—obtained an arrest warrant against the 24-year-old earlier in August after the woman claimed that he kicked her, pulled her hair, and put his hands around her throat. She provided photos of her injuries and later sued him.
