Mexican Cops Seize 105 Tons of Pot

One for the record books: On Monday, Mexican authorities announced that police seized 105 tons of marijuana in Tijuana, the largest bust in years. A Mexican news agency also reported that a clash between the drug carriers and authorities resulted in a government agent and a suspected drug runner being injured. Officials detained 11 people, and the news agency also reported that the suspects directed agents to places where they could find more marijuana. Police confiscated 10,000 packages of marijuana that collectively weighed 105 tons.
